    Welcome to SRP, it's nice to have you here. Good choice to ask questions before trying to restore it. There's been solid advice given here. Heirloom razors are special, some of us will never have the chance to own one and take care of it for the next generation. Enjoy the forum!

    Hi and welcome. Already great advice to send it out and get another to start with. Its easy to drop or damage a razor while learning and not something you want to do to a heirloom.
