Thinking I may save up to have this one restored or wait till I have learned more to attempt it myself.
I will keep my eye on razor selling forum and see if I can find a ready to shave razor I can afford, and learn with it.

Welcome to the forum! That blade should clean up nicely. Meanwhile, B/S/T is a great place to find a shave ready razor at a fair price. Good luck with the hunt.

Hi and welcome aboard. If looking for another razor go to the bst. You will get a shave ready razor not like ebay where you will be lucky to find someone who knows what shave ready is. If restoring yourself go slow. Its easy to do damage harder to fix. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

    Welcome to SRP!!

As you've seen, a lot of great folks here and tons of info.
Great razor there, and good call waiting or sending it off to be done.

    Enjoy and have fun!!

I have ordered a razor from BST ( 9/16 H. Krawetzke, Fremont OH (Clauss Razor Co.)). Looking forward to experimenting/shaving with it!

You'll like the shave. I've got a few Clauss razors...no complaints.!
