Hello from South Carolina
Hello everyone. I am in the Charleston area. I was interested in learning to shave with a Straight Razor mainly to clean up around my beard.
I enjoy a good cigar or pipe in my spare time. I also enjoy a good adventure/fantasy book or video game.

Welcome. You should have no trouble at all. To me, all the hard parts are in the goatee area.
I see you just bought a razor that needs honing. I'm not the most experienced, but can shave with what I sharpen. If you'd like to have it shipped to me, I could sharpen it up and bring it with me to Charleston over the holidays. Maybe we could meet up over pipes. That would be nice. I was hoping to get another razor from family over the holidays that was shave ready, and was going to play at sharpening this one. But it wouldn't be an issue shipping it since I work in a shipping facility here.
