Thanked: 3G'day from down under
G'day,
My name is Jackson and I hail from Perth, Western Australia.
Currently growing a big bushy beard, that I don't cut in either but recently given a razor by my Pop. I have had knives of all sorts and steel grades over the years and always wanted to get into straight razors eventually, so here I am
Hoping to connect with fellow aussies too!
Cheers

Thanked: 98Welcome from the commonly confused Austria where there are no kangaroos. Lots of cool info and a huge swath of collectors to glean from. Enjoy your stay and at least consider a proper shave some day.

Thanked: 3228Welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place to learn about straight razors and their use. If you go to the International Forums section you will see a Down Under sub forum. You will find some like minded Aussies there. If you have any questions feel free to post them and our members will be happy to answer them for you. Enjoy your stay.

Hello Gimli, welcome to the forum. I'm in Canberra now for some work, staying in Oz for about 6 weeks. I've got a friend in Perth, wish I could visit, but it doesn't seem feasible this time around. Australia is a beautiful country, and people are very nice, friendly and helpful to us foreigners. Anyway good to have you, hope you enjoy the conversation...and get rid of that beard hah! (just kidding, all in good time eh)
