Thanks for the welcome evnpar.
I'm not much for social media either. My friends and family have finally stopped bugging me about not having a facebook account. Not a huge fan of communication with a keyboard... no body language/voice tones. Makes it easy to be misunderstood.Last edited by JellyJar; 02-17-2019 at 03:39 AM.

Big thing is to learn how to post pictures of what you are typing about.
Worth 1000 words, you know.
Good place to begin in that search box?Last edited by sharptonn; 02-17-2019 at 03:41 AM.

I suppose it is all about how you say things.
I always include some sort of smiley so I am not misunderstood...

At least straights will endure.
Welcome, there’s a “what are you working on” thread that’s about 1500 pages long, good place to post a picture, get feedback, get ideas, and lots of awesome info on the nuances of straights and restoration.

Welcome to SRP. The guys have said it. Lots of good people willing to help you grow into making wonderful razors work and look good again. Be sure to go over the forum rules once. It's not much but it will keep you from making some of the mistakes most people make. Not a big deal. We will correct you if you do them and you won't get thrown out. We enjoy having new guys join up so we are pretty easy on the new guy.
Post up some pics as we love razor porn and show the work you're doing along the way. It's the best way to understand some of the fine details in restoring razors. And try not to fall too deep into the rabbit hole. It's a steep one and deep. It's just Sharpening, right?
