Hey Woody! Welcome from another Floridian like bouschie. I'm way up state from you in Gainesville though, about three and a half hours away from you. Yes you'll find that there are a lot of old farts here. I clock in at 57 so I'm sort of a youngster although there are some guys here in their twenties too. I too started in my teens with a straight that my father owned. It is now an heirloom of mine. Speaking of which, don't forget to post some pics of your gear. We love pics here. Have fun and join in where you see fit. If you don't find what you're looking for in a search then make sure to ask. There are lots of people here willing to help.

If you look around you'll find that we like to 'Show and Tell' about a great number of different topics. Things like clean jokes, what was for breakfast, smoke cooking and sausages etc.

I'm sure you'll find some of them interesting.

I think I fall into that old fart category. My son recently turned 46. Thankfully, I stopped counted 15 years ago.
