    Default superspot checking in

    Hello,
Glad to find this place, I Belonged to Badger and Blade for a while but kicked out for defending my occupation as Police Officer the past 33 years. Several in there must have had some bad times with Police Officers and they decided to cuss me for being one. I stood up to them and got kicked off. If I get cussed in open form here like I did there, I will stand up for myself and occupation again. Otherwise I am very easy to get along with and like to share info and learn as well. So again, HELLO EVERYONE ! Glad to be here.

Welcome to SRP. You'll find in short order that we are a forum populated by ladies and gentleman, and descrimination based on occupation or any interest a member may have (so long as that interest can be discussed in a gentelmanly or ladylike conversation) is rare and not tolerated. I have no doubt that you will find yourself feeling welcome here, so please feel no need to keep your guard up. Pull up a chair, take a seat, kick off your shoes, and enjoy the atmosphere.

    Glad to have you here.

Welcome SuperSpot. You shouldn't get cussed, well, not any more than anyone else.

    Happy shaving!

Welcome! I have yet to see any threads get that out of hand, even some touching on topics that would have normally exploded on other forums. I second the "Ladies and Gentlemen" statement. Hope you feel at home here!

    Welcome to SRP Superspot!

As others have said, this forum is very gentlemanly, and you'll find many topics discussed here that other forums would not (or could not!) allow, but always in a courteous manner!

We pride ourselves on our manners here, and discrimination of any kind is beyond rare and never tolerated.

    So welcome, relax and enjoy!

Welcome to SRP. There are law enforcement folks who are members here and a few who have also been 'kicked off' of that other forum for one reason or another. Seems like it ain't difficult to join that club. Are you straight razor shaving yet ?

If you haven't already gone there check out the SRP Wiki here. The beginner's guide is a great place to start along with SRP founder Lynn Abrams giving his advice for the first straight razor shaves. For those of us who were already shaving wet with a DE and have the lathering and the preparation down the learning curve is not as steep.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
