Thread: Hi all

Funny journey it has been. There was a discussion in Arfcom, a gun board, about shaving, and I was introduced to the fun of double edge razor. From there I got to know more about straight razors, and ended up buying two nice ones from eBay, and decided to join a board that specializes in straight razor shaving.

The two I have:

- Widerstrahl Solingen Rasoir special a effiler 718 3/8.
- Williams Special Steel Razor of Silver Spring Md. Also of Solingen steel.

I had a nick on the Widerstrahl removed and sharpened, but it's not shave ready yet. I don't think the Williams one is, either.

welcome to the board. I am new to straight razor shaving as well. Infact, I haven't received my blade yet. It should be here tomorrow. Good to have ya.
