    Default Finally decided to post here

    Hi All,

    New to the forums, but not new to wet shaving. Have used a variety of methods and have returned to the DE. Have some straights, but don't have the strop or the courage to try them yet.

    Hope to get to know you all over the years.

    Welcome to SRP. Shaving with a straight razor was similar for me to the first time I rode a fixed gear bicycle on a banked track velodrome. Scared the heck out of me but I went for it and fell in love with it. Check out the sig line with the link for more useful info and enjoy your shave.

    I'm still scared to try DE's I had no problem at all jumping on straight razors... DE's just give me the willies

    Welcome! We're glad you have joined us!

    I was nervous the first time I used a straight razor, but I love it now and I would never want to go back to cartridge razors.
