    Default Hello from Canada eh

    Howdy all,

Hope all have had a great shave and morning so far. I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to you guys at this forum.

I've been wet shaving for a few years now with a shavete, but last month just received my first new straight razor. But as the story goes one isn't enough so a bought a couple more, and then a few more soaps, and hones. So as you can see I'll fit right in!

I was a member of a nother shaving forum before but decided to join you guys here because you seem more dedicated to striaghts then DE/SE razors. Which in all honesty doesn't really appeal to me.

Anyways just wanted to say hi and ask you all to be patient with me cuz I ask way too many questions for my own good!

Look forward to chatting and learning lots from you all

    Basil

    Welcome to the place.

I'm still a new guy here too, and the guys are really dedicated to straight the razor tradition indeed and very helpful.

Another Canuck....and one from Toronto! Excellent, and welcome.

Check out TBBS at Dundas and Bay....they have some nice creams and soaps.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It's nice to meet you all.

Glad to see there are people here from Toronto/Canada also. The other forum didn't have many if any at all so it was hard to get answer for Canada specific questions.

Actually since I'm here I might as well ask.

Does anyone know where I can purchase DR Harris and TOBS Soaps in Toronto or nearby? I know I can order online but I like to go into stores personally.

I know one of you mentioned the TBBS how about any other stores that carry a large selection of shave products?

I know you were after a physical store, but this is the best I can do! Fendrihan is based in Toronto. They seem to have a good reputation.
