Hi! I just registered. I thought it was about time after lurking here for a while. I just ordered my first real straight from an online vendor and ordered Lynn's DVD from the man himself. I should be up and running next week. In the meantime, I have my DE's and Shavette. Thanks,
    Jason

    Hello, Jason:

Welcome to Straight Razor Place. You seem the type to decide and act. That's an excellent characteristic for the straight razor shaver. Now take your time and hone your skill with the straight razor. Please make sure you do all the reading you can on the subject. If you need help, don't forget you have an army of friends here.

    Regards,
    Obie

    Welcome Jason,

I also bought the dvd a month ago, there's some stuff in there we can learn from and some eye candy as it shows part of the collection.

Good luck on str8 shaving, do post your experiences in the beginners forum!

Thank you! I like vintage as well. I have a '61 Fatboy and a NOS 1912 GEM Junior w/ bakelite handle. I just had my first straight shave this evening! Keep me posted on your journey!
