Thanked: 0Hello Guys an Gals nice to become part of your community here
It is an honor to become a member of this community of people who know a lot more about straight razors than I do. I'm just trying to learn. I just got my first one and don't know if it is any good or not. It is supposed to be between the 40's and 50's but who knows. Maybe one of you all. It is a L Decker Co. #51 made in Solingen Germany with a diamond edeco or eoeco inside a diamond on the handles, all in gold in deep hollow ground. But anyways thank you all for letting join you in this great club and I hope to soon get to meet you all and chat with you soon.

Welcome aboard. Your razor was made by Solingen. They make some of the finest around. Good job. If it's not Shave Ready, You may want to have that done by one of our Honemeisters....

Thanked: 1195Hey Shade,
Like zib said, if your razor was made in Solingen it is more than likely a quality razor.
Have fun and see you around the forums!
