Thanked: 1936Any Sheffield or German blade, 5/8-6/8, hollow grind should do you fine, but you may have to open your budget up a little...not much though. Keep in mind that many of the blades on the classified's come shave ready (or the seller will hone it usually) and include shipping. Contact the seller, let them know it would be your first blade and I'm sure they will let you know if it's the blade for you. You may contact some guys that are local to you via PM and see if they have any blades they may let go of. Most of us have more than one razor...

Guys,
Just a reminder from your friendly Mod team that sales talk needs to be kept to the classifieds or PM and cannot be conducted in the open forum.
Thanks,
Stu

Thanked: 1936Links don't work, but anything from Dillon will be just fine...as well as pretty much any other gentleman on the classified's. Rooks, crooks, and theives don't last long here on SRP...
If you opt for a spike point (squared), you may consider a muted (slightly rounded) one. They have a learning curve of their own...Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
