How do the classified ads work?
How do the classified advertisments work ? Do you just pay or bid like eBay or just make an offer how is payment made.

Most guys use paypal. Some have a "buy it now" option, others just accept the first member who pm's them.
If you PM, it's better to do so through the general boards, as the classifieds have their own system. Some members don't even know these exist & may never find your message.
Remember, if you buy outside the EU, you'll probably get hit by customs charges, so factor these in.

Pewter Shaving Mug
Just as an update when out and about shopping today I came across a retailer selling Trumpers and other good quality shaving material - I had to stop and have a chat this shop is a clothing store but we both talked about Straight Razors and shaving for 20 mins awesome !!!
Iv'e also seen articles on here about not using pre shave oil so today I left this out and used my Trumpers Sandalwood Cream today and finished off with an alum block and Trumpers skin food and felt it was one of by better shaves in a long time.
As In my Introduction and header above I love my shaving mug but as I travel a fair bit with work I was looking for a solid robust bit of kit and have found a UK company that is making me one in only two days , Im using cream and soap at the moment I also found a good metal bowl in a charity shop for 50 Pence.
Anyway when it turns up I will add a photo to my album for you to enjoy or add comment on.

Welcome Brucey from a fellow Londoner!
You've got some great products there, I really rate Trumpers stuff as among the best. Its always really good quality! Castle Forbes also make great creams as Zib says, and I really recommend the lime cream.
In terms of AS balm, my first (and probably only!) choice would be Trumpers sandalwood skin food. That stuff really does rock, its just brilliant.
If you are looking for a straight razor, do be sure to look in the classifieds here as there are loads of great shave ready razors available there.
Also, keep an eye out for the UK 2010 Razorcon. I'm organising a venue in London at the moment and we'll hopefully be holding something in October..! That'll be a really great opportunity to meet other SRP members and see a whole load of kit and demos. Theres talk of a Charnely Forest shoot out as well, so its promising to be a good day!
Good luck and keep us posted!
