I bought a few old razors off Ebay, one called a HMC Cutlery. I also bought a new TI from TAOS.
I have a Spyderco sharpener system from my days as a chef. This has the Brown and the White triangular rods. I ran the old blade over the spyderco rods. I haven't gotten it to HHT sharpness, but it shaves better than the TI. Now I know they would both shave better if I sent them to a honemeister, but I am too much of a DIY to do that. I just bought a Swaty off Ebay, so that may help me get a better edge.
