alpla444,
Welcome and hello from Hastings
For razors, strops and honing we have two (2) very fine chappies in the UK:
1) Mr Neil Miller www.strop-shop.co.uk
2) Mr Steve Dempster www.theinvisibleedge.co.uk
Mr Miller specializes in vintage straight razors; Mr Dempster has both new build (Dovo & Thiers-Issard) and vintage razors.
Both do superb honing.
For soaps, creams, aftershaves etc
Mr P Mayhew www.connaughtshaving.com is an excellent resource.
Mr Millers' strops, both hanging and paddle are absolutely first rate in every way; highly recommended
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ

Hello!
Here are some good suppliers this side.
Paul Welcome To Connaught Shaving
Neil www.strop-shop.co.uk - hand made straight razor strops, razor pouches, shaving accessories, vintage razors, razor honing and restoration
Steve Introduction to razors
The classifieds are a great resource too, but remember that if you buy from outside of Europe, you need to factor in customs charges.
I'd leave the hones alone right now & just get a strop. Honing takes a little practise & you've enough to learn right now. Also, the stones are an unnecesary expense at this stage. Send the razor out.
As for a strop, you will damage your first, so either buy a cheap, but quality one, or one that has replaceable components.
