Thread: Hello from San Diego

Hello everyone!!!
I'm Fred and i'm a 20's male and i've been intrigued by str8 razor shaving for a while, and been reading this forum especially for the past couple weeks. I just finally purchased my first razor a 5/8 dovo and should be arriving in the mail in the next couple of days!!

Hi Fred, Welcome to the forum. Did you purchase a strop, and all the other goodies, Brush, Shave Cream, or Soap, etc...?

Remember to start small, Do a good prep, and make sure you stretch your skin, and pay attention to the angle of the blade....

I did! i got a Illinois Strop Co Model #827 Russian Strop, a Vulfix 660 Super Badger brush and some edwin jagger shaving cream can't wait for it to get here!
