    Default Hello from Toronto

Hi there, just wanted to take a quick minute to introduce myself. I'm from Alberta Canada and currently reside in Ontario and attend the University of Toronto. I first became interested in straight razor shaving a few months ago when I purchased a brush and shaving soap to use with my regular razor as shaving gel just didn't work for me. I've been reading up on straight razor shaving and hope to purchase my own very soon. I look forward to exploring the forum and wiki and any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome from a Texan! We have a lot of Canadians on this forum. Would you tell my many Canadian relatives hello?

Welcome to SRP. Alway good to see another Canadian join our ranks. I use to do a fair bit of partying there at UofT with the Rugby team.

Excellent! Another Canadian. Welcome to SRP. A few of us here in Toronto, so just holler if you need some help.

There's a pretty good store downtown called TBBS (Toronto Barber and Beauty Supply) at Bay and Dundas. They have some nice brushes and creams, but I wouldn't suggest buying a razor from them, they're a little over the top with those prices.

    Cheers,
    Maxi

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'll be sure to check TBBS when I can. Trillium, I played for the seconds team in my first and second year. Never could crack the starting squad. Don't know if that says much though seeing as the Blues have not had a winning record in a looong time.

More than likely you spent more time drinking and chasing the ladies. FYI there is some great club rugby in T.O. If your not heading home in the summer. I play for the Oshawa Vikings and we didn't win many games this season but we did win ever boat race
