Hey I just joined the club recently and am from Chicago as well. I know of a handful of antique stores around the city that have straights for sale if you want to add to your collection.

Barko--don't worry, it will get better. I've been str8 shaving since the middle of last December and I still am working on getting a totally great shave. Every week gets better. Patience and Practice will get you there.
