    Just thought I'd say Howdy

    I've been shaving with a Solingen 5/8 for a while now and have to say i love it, found your forum when I was searching for info regarding two new razors I recently bought. any suggestions on mineral oils recently the walgreens i bought mine from stopped carrying it and im out of ideas for oils

    Welcome to SRP. Baby oil is widely available. All it is is mineral oil with fragrance.

    Welcome to the forum...
    Oil for protecting your blade....? Is so, Wahl clipper oil can be used, available at Wal Mart, it's basically mineral oil, or Camelia oil, available at SRD. I use a silicone treated gun cloth inbetween shaves to protect my blades. If I'm storing them, then I use the oil.
