Thread: New guy here

Hello everyone! I thought I would say hi and thank everyone on the board for all the great information here. I have been wet shaving for a couple years now with a DE and have decided to give straights a try. I'm still deciding on all the implements to use but I think I have it all narrowed down. I'm just excited to give straights a go and I think I'll truly enjoy it.

I think I'm going to go with one of whipped dogs straights and his poor mans strop set up. I'm kind of on a tighter budget at the moment so I think this should be good to at least get me going. Is there any other sites or deals I should maybe look at before making this purchase? Thanks

I think if you're on a tight budget, Larry and Whipped dog are the way to go. Of course, you could also check the SRP classifieds for something, but I think you're on the right track already.
