Hello everyone.
New straight shaver here. I've been double edge shaving for a year and a half. After buying a shavette and using it for a week or so, I have acquired a Gold Dollar cut throat from my son, who also uses a st8. Been a member on another shave forum and wanted to broaden my horizons by joining here as well. I may ask some silly questions about st8 shaving, but the more I learn, the less silly they will get, so please bear with me.

Hi Dan, and welcome to SRP.
I think you will find this place to be filled with valuable info and a great bunch of fellow wet-shavers.
From what you tell us you should be all set when it comes to prep and post shave treatment.
All it takes now is a shave ready razor and off you go into the peak of wet-shaving( well, in my opinion anyway)
