    Default New cut throat enthusiast!

    Hello everyone, just bought my first razor from the classifieds and it should be here in a couple of days. Since I registered here and plan to be asking questions I thought I would come introduce myself. One question I did have is Can vegetable tanned cowhide be used to make a beginners strop?

    Hello and welcome to SRP.
    Theres loads of usefull info on this site in the wiki and in the threads. I think the veg tanned cowhide is fine for a strop. Also be sure to check out the beginners tips here.
