Thanked: 5Greetings from Sweden
Hi
My name is Bjorn and I am from the northern part of Sweden where I live with my wife and two sons. I have finally started to shave with straight razors which is an old dream come true.
My first razor was part of a shave kit from Mühle which included a strop and a badger brush. As it seems after reading up a bit I too found the razor not sharp enough, mainly due to poor shaving technique. I then ordered a really nice vintage razor from Neil Miller at strop-shop which pretty much got me hooked at wet shaving.
I have since then bought a nice C.V Heljestrand MK24 which I plan to send to Neil for restoration and a nice Gillette Fat Boy.

Hello Bjorn, and welcome to SRP.
It looks like you are off to a good start but feel free to ask as many questions as you need. Watch your angles and keep the pressure really light and with practice your technique will improve.
Good luck

Thanked: 993Welcome to SRP sir!
You're set up fairly well with equipment. How have your shaves been so far with the vintage razor?

Thanked: 5I don't know if the Mühle razor has any model number but it looks like this:
The vintage razor was a great improvement. I must say that I love the service Neil Miller provides, fast service and a great razor. Here is a picture of the vintage razor:
I am still being a little bit impatient which is causing me to get some nicks from time to time but I am enjoying every moment.

Welcome to SRP, good to see more scandinavians here.
Check out the wiki and glen's beginner tips, that should help with your nicks - although they perhaps do not provide patience
Sounds like you are doing great, let us know if you have any questions.
