    hell,

    im jeff, im a french beginner in the straight razor shave. I started to use straight razor 3 months ago. Actually i got 5 straight razors, no one is recent. I got a "le grelot royal" , a thiers issard "spartacus", a sheffield " eyes witness hollow ground", and a french razor 'l'ecolier a nogent" and another french razor without inscription.
    i prefer olds razors cause they got history.
    Im new here i will try to read a lot of this good forum to know exactly how to take care about my razors, to know about hones, strops ...

    Welcome Jeff to SRP and being a guy that has RAD, that is a fine group of razors you have to start out with. There are a lot of helpful people on this forum and much information on this site to help you on your way. Happy shaving and again welcome.
