    Wink Hello everyone...MrMendigo from NC

    HI all,

My brother is a razor collector/user and directed me to your site. I purchased him a straight razor and want to try to restore it for him as a gift. You guys really appear to know your stuff and I look forward to learning more about straight razors.

    Welcome
You were definitely directed to the right place. Lots to learn here. Spend some time searching the wiki and the workshop for any restoration advice. Feel free to ask plenty of questions.

    Hi John,

Welcome to SRP. In the Wiki, you'll find a video series by Undream. He does a restoration start to finish, and they are a big help to lots of people here. Start with that, ask lots of questions, and have a good time.

Can you also speak to my family members about buying razors for me?

    Welcome John,

The knowledge here is bountiful and after some reading, you may want to try one yourself.
