    G'day Haisam, I'll second (or third) Geoff's recommendation to try and get to that meet up. Os, the bloke who is hosting it, is a fount of knowledge. You won't go wrong if you go before you start spending money..

    Hey, welcome Haisam. You're lucky in your timing; getting some one-on-one instruction will put you a year ahead of most beginners.

    Take a notebook--I took a few pages of notes at my first meetup, which was after I'd been straight shaving exclusively for a couple of years. But I'll admit, I'm kind of a compulsive note-taker.
