Hello From Toronto

Hi everybody!

I have always been interested in straight-razors, and cutlery in general. It has become a further obsession after i bought some water stones to re-sharpen my japanese kitchen knives. I thought they were sharp when i first bought them. Now they are razor sharp and that has lead me here in anticipation of learning the art of shaving, honing, etc...

Welcome to the board Steve. I am sure MAXI will pop in to say hi and he is toronto as well. He is good at getting things sharp. I have lots of stones but still working at getting consistant at it.

I'm in Vaughan and also a beginner. I'm just now waiting to get my first razor in the mail from a member here.

Seems like we have a number of people from the area. Maybe we should arrange a meet up sometime.
