    Default Hello!

I'm just starting my straight edge journey at this point.

I've acquired 2 straight edges from my grandfather: a Black Star #98 from Schmidt & Company, and a Leader from F.W. Engels, Germany. The Leader has a small 1/4" triangular chip on the end of the blade. I'm considering getting it restored; does anyone know how much that might cost?

As far as my brush goes, I have a knot of Finest on the way and plan to make my own handle.

Thanks for reading, and I'm happy to be a part of SRP!

    Welcome,
There are a lot of people better qualified to tell you if they could be restored. Pictures would also help a lot
