Thanked: 6Greetings
Hello All,
I have been a troll, lurking around the site for over a month now. Had a little issue with registration that is now fixed (obviously I am now posting).
I started DE shaving a year ago, after a straight razor shave at a barber. A couple of months ago, I started looking into the possibility of SR shaving. At the time, I didn't want to spend the money on all the tools needed. So I bought a Feather Artist Club RG. I have been shaving with it for about a month now. I shave every other day or so (Light beard). I am still learning, and having a hard time with the neck area (I think to much pressure).
As I have read numerous times in the threads, I love shaving now, and look forward to it. SWMBO didn't initially like the idea of the money spent, but now approves of it and has been enjoying the smooth face.
Next adventure will be to actually get a SR and strop, and start down that road.
Thank you to all the help on here, and the people that have posted/answered questions I have had (with out even posting).
Have a good day.

Hi Cody,
Welcome to SRP. I used to live in SoCal myself and always wanted to go to Alaska. Prudhoe Bay is pretty far north there.

Thanked: 6Mark,
Thank you for the Welcome. I live in Ventura County, but work in Prudhoe Bay. It is pretty interesting working 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle. I can officially say I have seen a Polar Bear at work (wild, and not in a zoo). Alaska is a geourgous state. I need to take some of my time off and check it out more. Have a good one.

Thanked: 993Welcome to SRP.
You must keep SWMBO happy! If she wants you to own an 8/8 Friodur or a custom blade, then you'd better listen.

Thanked: 6Maxi, Joshua,
Thank you. I love this site. Most of my questions have already been answered, it is just finding them. That is why I haven't posted any new threads. A little search, and there it is.
SWMBO is ok with any purchases I make, as long as it is out of "My" money, and not "Hers" (i mean ours... you know what I am talking about). I am already Eying a custom by Mr. Williams. Got to make sure X-Mas and the Wedding in January is payed for first. (Unless I don't want to get married...LOL)

ps. Joshua, Fishing in Alaska is insane, especially from the pictures I have seen from the guys at work. During the Salmon runs in June/July they say it is not uncommon to catch 40+ 20 pound fish an hour. At this point I can only imagine.
