Yes Havachat - point taken. I have actually arranged for it to be honed properly (or what i hope is properly) before it arrives, and the hone itself is mroe to save me $40 shipping down the line when i actually need it

Jimbo, it seems you arent terribly far away from me! Are there many more in Qld? I'll have to try and find that map thingy where it shows me.... Someone told me about it in chat the other day.

Yes, there are quite a few in QLD actually. There's a great guy up your way, Greg Fraser, but I haven't seen him on the forums in a while. If you could run into him I'd imagine you'd get some great face to face info. Anyway, if you need anything let me know and I will see if I can help you out.

I see he is only an hour and a bit away... so it's quite possible i could run into him and thanks for the offer, I'll be sure to let you know if i need help with anything. I'll likely catch up with you in chat sometime soon, i think i missed you by about 30 seconds a couple of days ago.

My apologies Aiden, I didn't see that you were in RockVegas.
If you are coming down Brissy way anytime, make sure you PM me and we can catch up, if you want.
Keep an eye on the International forums too 'cause we are having a meet-up next weekend and intend on having them fairly regularly.
