Thanked: 275Razors from the "Classified" section here, or "WhippedDog.com", are likely to be genuinely "shave-ready". There are no such guarantees on eBay.
You might also consider getting a double-edge (safety) razor. They're not very expensive (old Gillettes for $5 - $20, and new DE's for $20 - $40), blades are fairly cheap, and they're easier to master than a straight razor.
It sounds like you'll be shaving a lot. If you're rushed, a straight razor is _not_ what you should use.
