Thanks everyone for the welcome,
Really its my pipe smoking that brought me into the straight razor world, going to my local pipe shop i started to notice the safety razors and the badger brushes. Then for my dads birthday i got him some Edwin and sandalwood jagger shaving soap and i think that it was after smelling that soap that i knew that i wanted to go into the direction of the straigh razors and to really get into the shave.
I do have a really busy home life with 4 kids so i intend to only shave with the blade on the weekends so thats going to save some honing i guess and i will start out with small steps by only shaving a part of the face and then expanding with time.

Hi guys,
Well i just got my beginers wet shave kit today in the mail. Im looking forward to trying this out tomorrow. Im trying to get the feel of the blade in my hands right now. The blade is intimidating and demands respect hehe. It is also a work of art
