Thanked: 0New here and basically new to straight razors
Hey all, after a while of paying too much money for disposable razors and not getting much use to justify the cost I started looking for other methods for shaving. As odd as it seemed to me I decided to try straight razors. My parents actually had a Geo. Wostenholm & Son razor that was from my great great grandfather, so that was more incentive to use it. I didn't figure on finding something that has been in my family for such a long time. From the research I had done the blade is supposed to be one of the better ones from my understanding. Anyways, most of my information I found on getting started came from this site, so I decided to join to learn more. I hope to learn more from the history aspect and techniques of the straight razor. I know from the short time I have been using mine I am happy with the change .

Thanked: 0Thanks for the welcomes! I don't think I have ever had a shave that was so close from anything else, so I am definitely enjoying it.
