I'm waiting for all of my straights to get here so I can determine which ones I will send to get honed first. I plan on getting a 4000/8000 stone and some more micromesh (I used it to polish up my nibs on my fountain pens...yes, just one more of my collections)

I agree completely!! I did that with my bike, cameras, pens, and now razors I have an appreciation for older things that I can restore.
