Thanked: 1No more lurking, I'm becoming official :)
Hello all. Just wanted to say hello and finally post up. I've always been fascinated with all sorts of vintage items. Razors have been one of them. My first full straight was a cheapie Pakistan one that I recently found out wasn't worth the few bucks I paid for it. I have a Geneva Cutlery Pyramid, Morely and Sons Clover, and a Butcher Special all on the way from Ebay. Today I purchased an OST Uncle Sam, Rolls Razor (I have been wanting one of these for quite some time!!!), and my first adjustable saftey razor.
Prior to these purchases, I've been using disposable straights: Monsieur Charles and my most recent Parker SR1. I've had two Gillette Safety razors that I use off and on. Finally, my poor little Merkur doesn't get too much action.
Can't wait to get them cleaned up, honed, polished, and used (again)!

CarlStranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 1195Looks like you're stocked up on your way
As you probably know, be sure to get at least a couple of those bad boys pro-honed and pick up a nice strop if you haven't already.
Have fun.

Thanked: 334Welcome to SRP, nino! I love the way your gear is arrayed in the pics -- it looks like a medieval torturer's display!
