I dont mind driving out i just hate canada post and never feel comfortable shipping anything out. Or if there is anybody from the area that sells shave ready razors.

Thanked: 993Hey Jeremy,
Welcome to the forum.
I know Phil's out of Oakville, and I'm out of Toronto, but I don't know anyone that hones in the Windsor area, sorry. Canada Post isn't that bad. Aside from their prices, I don't have too much to gripe about. I've never lost a razor in a transaction. But....take precaution where you can. Always ship with tracking, and use their min. $100 insurance, or pay for more if you need to. I believe its about 80 cents per $100 extra.
My two cents.
PM me if you need any help. I'll do the best I can.

Welcome to the forum,
I dont think you will have much luck finding local shave ready razors.
We are all at the mercy of Canada post.
Maxi in Toronto (for honing/restores) or Classic edge are your best local options.
If shipping times are your concern, just buy something every week and you wont have to experience the painfull wait...
Eric.

Thanked: 2209Welcome to SRP
Maxi & EPD are giving you good advice. It is always good practice to have a backup shave ready razor ...or two!Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Thanked: 3Thanks for the advice guys. I'm planing on either sending my antique store razor to maxi for a restore or buying another new razor from classic edge or some other store not sure yet. I'm starting to notice alot of tug and pull on my current razor when i go atg so i think its time for a touch up. Should i get a barber hone or a balsa strop with crox? any input would be appreciated.
