Thread: Bok!

hi guys! greetings from Croatia.

I have been bladesmithing as hobby for some time now and recently made a few razors and started to shave with them. well...interesting and calming new world for me and seeing from forum, full of things to learn.

yes...pictures. I had the intention to do this but than I so some incredible work from members on custom builts. I’ll drool first on that for a while and then post mine which are very common and simple

Sure....it's all in good fun. My restorations are fairly simple, but there are others on here making razors and their work is incredible! I love looking at their products over and over and over!

Welcome to SRP. There are some very talented custom razors makers here but remember this, they all had to start somewhere and I am willing to bet their first hand made razors where common and simple as you put it. Like shaving with a straight razor, skill and technique come with time, patience, and practice. Who knows, maybe in the future we'll be drooling over your blades. Post some pictures when you have time!

Welcome Karlo....I was lucky guy who have opportunity to first hone out those razors that Karlo made and I can say that Karlo did amazing job with steel selection.
All razors took great edges - they outperform some of razors from my collection in way they shave - very smooth but really sharp same way with great edge retention.
Next time I will make short shaving video - for the moment I am very busy with my regular job but I promise to Karlo that I will make video with next razors batch.
