Thread: New in Fresno

Hey guys, I have been wanting to straight razor shave for awhile now and my wife just got me a Dovo Astrale for my birthday this year(from what I read this come far from shave ready). She also got me a stroop and a stone and I have tried to hone a little but I'm afraid to damage the blade as I have only sharpened knifes before. The little bit I have shaved I get much pulling so I probably have a ways to go. I have browsed around the site a little and see there is decent representation from Fresno folk. If anyone could offer a honing service or could help me out sometime that would be awesome. See you around.
