Wow. Thank you for the kind words! I have tried to seek out as much information as I can on straight razor shaving, so I keep my mistakes to a minimum. I've learned lots from dwarvenchef's youtube videos, Ive watched all of them many times along with many others. lynns videos have also been very helpful in learning to hone. Ive also read all the helpful links on the home page which helps soooo much!! Im a wood worker by trade so a sharping stone is certainly not unfamiliar. Although a straight razor takes much more patients to sharpen and achieve the edge you need compared to wood working tools. I am having a blast collecting shaving tools and this forum just makes it so much more enjoyable!!!
