My razor arrived today, and therefore I had my first straight shave. I was a little scared, to be honest. At the 'easy places' the result is great! Now I need practice. Lathering, stropping, shaving...All need improvement. I`m having lots of fun with it though!

Congrats on your first shave! Hang in there, it will only get better.

Scared is good. Better scared than scarred. It took me about four months to go from shaving just the easy spots to finishing the whole job with a straight. It is fun, and stays fun for years and years.

    Best wishes to you.

I had the pleasure of visiting Holland for about a week. It was beautiful and the people were so friendly! I really felt at home and was sad to leave. Welcome to SRP!
