Thanked: 1Hello from Holland
Hello,
I have recently found that I am interested in straight-razor shaving. After a lot of reading on this site I went ahead and ordered a razor. I figured that this is when the questions would come, so I registered.
Thanks for all the questions you have already answered. I have benefitted from that a lot. I`m sure I`ll have to ask a couple myself, and maybe I`ll even be able to help someone out in some years :-p
Greetings,
TwoSocks

Thanked: 1I didn`t as much choose as find it, I`m afraid. It is a boker. The seller seemed knowledgable and friendly, so I thought it would be a good point to start this quest.

Welcome to the hobby. There are a couple of diseases you may read in these posts. The most common is the dreaded RAD. If you are a very wealthy person you may not be bankrupted. However, I say avoiding RAD is nearly impossible if you really like a good shave. SAD is generally not as much a bank account killer. You may well survive this affliction.
Good luck!If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 1I cannot quite afford to catch any of those diseases, I`m afraid. I`ll most likely end up with more razors then I need in the end though. I know myself when it comes to collecting sharp shiney stuff.
