Yeah - I did a search. "Etymology" and "Oz" does't come up with much other than it's slang, and the label on the bottom drawer on a filing cabinet lol. O-Z

    Online Etymology Dictionary

This is the Canuck answer - not too helpful either:
    Online Etymology Dictionary

Yank (note limey after yank lol):

Canada and Chinook? That's a terribly theory!

Welcome Bongo! As has been said your fellow Aussies are thick on the ground here, so you should have no trouble finding a local to help you out, mentor, etc. So pull up a chair, read lots (there is a TON of info here!) and when you have questions, ask away. You will probably not be surprised to find out that we love talking about anything to do with these razor thingies.

    Good luck!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
