Thanked: 0Women Whiskey & Wetshaving
Greetings from Louisiana, Gentlemen!
After perusing the board for quite sometime gleaning loads of helpful information, seeing the well-above-par quality of the members and their discussions, I've decided to come aboard.
I'm rapidly and happily approaching 30 years of age. After an adventuresome stint in the Airborne Infantry, dubious choices of profession, even more dubious choices of women, completely irresponsible levels of intoxication and chemical experimentation, and general motorcycle tomfoolery I'm relatively pleased to have made it this far.
Now I hope to learn from and discuss with you fellows the pleasures of trading modern conveniences with more refined and meticulous experiences. Happy to discuss any of my three loves listed in the title, or anything else. Cheers!
Shaving Equipment:
Dovo Best Quality 6/8" (honed by Lynn and chipped by the fool, yours truly)
Latigo 2" strop
Vulfix Super Badger Brush
Currently using Conks shave soap with a dab of Jack Black Supreme Cream Lather. Sound strange or unorthodox? Suggestions welcome.

Bad combo, friend,
Women can lead to whiskey drinking, thus no money left for wetshaving.
....Welcome Aboard & Enjoy the Ride.

Thanked: 1936Glad to have you my friend, you are from one of my more favorite States...love the cooking from the southern part of the state! You look like you have a great start on your shave gear...don't worry about chipping...most of us have done it. Post a pic, more than likely it can be honed out, until then, you may look at the classified's here and find a second razor so you won't have to do without a great shave while one of your other razors is out for honing. You will find that this is a great sport, enjoy the ride!
