Thanked: 1Greetings from Australia.
After spending many hours on the net researching straight razors I finally found the right place!
Just placed my order with Larry from Whipped Dog & looking forward to my first straight razor shave at the age of 47.
As I am getting older I'm more drawn to the "old ways" of doing things, so naturally straight razor was on the list.
Recently lost my job due to injury, so why not start the new chapter of my life with something enjoyable.
Many thanks to all the posters here -I've learned so much by reading your posts.
I never thought shaving with straight razor is such an art!
Bring it on! I am prepared -bandages - CHECK, ambulance on speed dial- CHECK

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Welcome to the most friendly, helpful and informative site on the web!!!
As my Mate MickR asked where are you from what's your occupation etc!!
Australia is a huge county but perhaps you might be close to others and hands on learning is invaluable!!!
Make the effort! If you can to meet with one of your countrymen who use a straight razor you will be well rewarded!!
