Thanks Jimbo,
Honing is on the list of what I want to learn.
I want to start with restoring at least one razor, then getting it honed by someone for me.
My next step will then be to learn how to use one, including stropping, maintenance etc.
Then I will move on to learning the art of honing.
On a side note one of my sons is currently living in Maleny, he's working for a construction company up there.
From what I hear it's a beautiful part of the world.
Cheers,
Lynchy

Thanked: 485Welcome! That's a great way to start; with all those razors!
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

G'day Lynchy!
Wow! That's a beautiful collection to start with, I'm jealous!!! My great grandfather was a barber and I still have family members trying to help me locate where all his razors went. For you to receive eight straight off the bat is just amazing!!
Welcome to the forum. I think you will find everyone is more than happy to steal your razors, I mean help you along your journey with straights
Nick.
