Hello again,
No, not as far North as Kenora (Thankfully), but it seems just as far.
Petawawa. Its about 2 hours from Ottawa. Neighboring Pembroke.
Just opened my mail to find my first; I'll be sending it off to get honed and "shave-ready"
Did I score?

Hi Ian,
Very hard to say without having it in hand, but I will say two things...
1) It looks like it has a bit of a frown near the heel (just to the right of the 'r' in 'Cutter') and some uneven hone wear. It could be a trick of the light, but just so you know if the person to whom you sent it says it needs a bit of work beyond simple honing, you're not being had. If that is a frown, then some steel will have to be removed to even up the edge, and that = extra work which should = extra $. However, it should be worth it because...
2) Bokers are fine blades! I have a King Cutter that is one of my favourite hollow-ground razors (I happen to like big old wedge-y blades, but that's just me). Once you get this one honed and ready to go, you should get many years of excellent service from it.
Best of luck with it!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
