    There's plenty posted about hones; however, I would work myself backwards as I needed them. I'd get a second pro-honed razor as your first one is getting dull and buy some CrO3 to use on the inside of the cloth portion of your strop for future refreshes, then send out your first razor for rehoning. This way you'll have a backup and one to always rehone or send out. When the CrO3 isn't working for touch-ups (and that should be a while), then I'd work backwards again and get a finisher. This should mean you won't get a finisher for a good long while and will have read a lot more, figured out what you want, used a bunch at meets, sent out razors to be honed on different stones to see what type of edge you like...etc. Hope this helps.
