That's a cool idea. I'd be tempted, if I had enough to make it worthwhile anyway.

That's perfect a perfect case for razors. Wish I had one even. But my idea is to turn witch ever razor you use over to where the spine is down in the little slot so you can keep track of your rotation. That's the biggest reason I want something like that. My rotation stays a little off. Nice though congrats on finding it.

How big is your rotation? If you leave 1 razor out and leave a space between yesterdays and tomorrows,,,, ta da ,,you have a system. :<0) You could also label the slots ? Just thinking.........
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Or just flip the spines from facing right to left.

Yeah but my kids keep me so scatter brained that I would forget which way I turned the used ones. Only because I only shave every other day or if I'm dead tired every 3rd day. Also they accomplish that because IM raisin a 3 year old son and 4 year old daughter by myself. They keep me gettin them something for them about every 5 minutes. But I love them little boogers they're worth it.
    Thank you,
    Swerve

I put a link to that exact box from JRs in the razors sub forum (with the stogies!).

I had this idea to embed precious stone in scales a few years back (wonder what happened to that idea?) so I have some stones laying around. During the summer I tend to go a few days without shaving so I forget where I left off in the rotation - so I started leaving a single ruby next to the tang of the blade after I put it back in the box. My wife cringes.

I paid a stupid amount for a TI razor box a few years ago and while it looks nice, it only takes 7 blades. The rest lay around in a number of places. So while messing around on the bay last week I decided to grab a few primo cigar boxes and see what I can come up with. First one arrived yesterday so I think I'm going to take a breather from restoration and try to make a $100 box from $17 of material. None have already installed spacers and the first one seems to be about 1" taller than the TI box (I'm seeing space for a tray in my mind's eye).

Off to grab another coffee and pipe and stare at the box for a bit. We'll see how it goes. Pictures and narrative soon... hopefully.
