Me too! Really helps to have some towels devoted to shaving. I find the thin ones dry more quickly and so need laundering less often, thus saving work for the devoted wife.

+2 My wife found six-packs of thin woven bleached cotton "barber" towels at a local emporium. I bought a dozen - pull a fresh one about every day. It's an affordable small luxury to pat your face dry with a fresh white towel.

I just grabbed 6 hand towels at walmart... they're soft, large enough, and get me through a week of shaves. I'm sure there are cheaper options out there. I just went with what was easily available.

I usually use hotel towels, and I do have a bunch of the "barber towels" with the green stripe on them

What a great question! I will now be looking into getting a set of suitable towels for draping over the shoulder etc. Currently I use a damp sponge for wiping the razor on and I have a face washer folded into quarters that I sit my soap bowl on. I use that for general sink cleaning after shaving, and replace it once a week with a fresh laundered one. Face drying is done with my regular bath towel.

    Thumbs up

I use the towels of my Italian forum
This is the little one. The big one is the dopple, rectangular shape. Very nice IMHO!

    And still available ...

I got a nine pack of "Sheer Glory" barber 100% cotton towels, green stripe, 25" X 15.5" from Sally Beauty Company. We have a retail store about 1/2 mile from my apartment, so I was able to see them before I bought. They were $11.99 for the 9 pack. I just bought them today, so I haven't used any yet (will tomorrow for my shave). They look good! Ed

I have a few rejected hand towels that my wife donated to my shaving supplies. They work just fine, I don't feel the need to buy special towels
    Edit to add:
